How to pay for parking at Autopay locations

Parking at EuroPark Autopay locations is smooth and customer-friendly, as there are no parking tickets or barriers. Parking starts and ends automatically through licence plate recognition when you enter and exit the parking area. Payment and access to the facilities are also handled conveniently using your licence plate. Autopay is a convenient, modern, and secure solution for today’s parking needs.

Choose the most convenient payment method from five options

At our Autopay locations, you can choose your preferred payment method from five different options. You can pay for parking automatically, on site, or afterwards. Visa and Mastercard payment cards (debit/credit/electron) are accepted at pay stations, for payment within 48 hours, and during registration. Cash and American Express are no longer accepted at our Autopay locations.

1. Pay using the Autopay Park & Charge app or online at www.autopay.io

a. Automatic payment

Register as an Autopay customer to activate automatic payment in the Autopay Park & Charge app, on the website www.autopay.io/signup, or at a pay station. Automatic payment works at all EuroPark Autopay locations. Once registered, you no longer need to worry about paying for parking separately – the fee will be charged automatically from your registered payment card.

Please note that at some locations, Autopay charges a service fee for each paid parking session when using Autopay automatic payment. Learn more: Palvelumaksu | EuroPark

b. Pay within 48 hours after exit

You can pay for your parking by card within 48 hours of leaving our Autopay parking area at no additional cost via the Autopay app or on the website autopay.io. Enter your vehicle’s licence plate number without a hyphen, e.g. ABC123.

Download the Autopay – Park & Charge app from App Store or Google Play.

Please note that online payments must be enabled on your payment card in order to use it.

2. Pay at a pay station

You can pay the parking fee at a pay station before exiting the parking area. Enter your vehicle’s licence plate number without a hyphen, for example ABC123, at the pay station and follow the on-screen instructions. After payment, you have 15 minutes to exit the parking area.

3. Mobile payment

At our Autopay locations, you can also pay for parking using the EasyPark or ParkMan mobile apps. Start mobile payment after you have parked your vehicle in the parking area. You will need your vehicle’s licence plate number to start the parking session. When you exit the parking area, the app will automatically stop the parking payment.

Make sure to select the correct parking area in the app. You can find the EasyPark area code on the on-site signage or on our website.

Please note that EasyPark and ParkMan may charge their own service fees, meaning the total amount charged may differ from EuroPark’s stated prices. Check your agreement with EasyPark or ParkMan for details.

4. Invoice

If you do not use any of the other payment options, we will send you an invoice. In this case, a €5 invoicing fee will be added to the parking charge, which is why we recommend using one of the other payment methods.

We obtain vehicle ownership and holder information from the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency (Traficom). The invoicing option is only available for vehicles whose owner and/or holder details are available in Traficom’s database. Unpaid parking fees for vehicles whose owner and/or holder details are not available in Traficom’s database will be transferred to debt collection.

An administrative fee of €5 will be added to unpaid parking charges. Please note that collection fees for foreign-registered vehicles may differ from the €5 administrative fee applied in Finland.

Door readers

For safety reasons, the pedestrian doors are locked 24/7 or open only during the day. If a door is closed, you can enter the car park using the door reader. There are always instructions placed next to the door reader to explain how the door reader works. As a rule, you will need your vehicle’s registration number to open the door.
